<div><p>Wind tunnel is a device by artificially producing airflow relative to stationary body that measures aerodynamic force and pressure distribution to simulate with actual conditions. Wind tunnel offer a rapid, economical and accurate means for aerodynamic research. The most important aspect of wind tunnel is their ability to accurate recreate the full complexity of fluid flow .In the current study a low cost Subsonic wind tunnel is designed, constructed and tested. The overall length of the wind tunnel is about    .the area of test section is  ..after testing the performance of wind tunnel it is founded that the maximum wind velocity inside the wind tunnel test section is 18.2 m/s, and the velocity profile along the length and height of test section is almost linear in nature.</p> <p>CFD has made great progress during the past decades. CFD and wind tunnel simulations are complementary due to their inherent limitations. Given  the  power  of  CFD,  however,  the  work  contained  herein  makes  use  of  the advantages  of  CFD  and also  the wind  tunnel,  to  form  a powerful  facility  for aerodynamic test. The present research work included CFD in support of wind tunnel test, numerical simulation of working section (first diffuser, contraction and settling chamber), blockage correction and support system effect. For the numerical simulation of wind tunnel, the pressure and velocity distributions were investigated, and for auto sport work, the removal of boundary layer was also numerically modelled.
